Heliacal Rise is the evolution of of one of our favourite wines; first called Gris Noir and last year called Ruth. It is a wine that blurs the line between white, red, pink and orange but is best described as a blend of skin-fermented white and Rosé. Picked in February, it is bright and fresh and is made from whole-bunch pressed Pinot Noir and skin-fermented Muscat-Clone Chardonnay. It is light, bright, aromatic and alive. Natural.
