This is a pretty wild wine made from a very unconventional blend of Cabernet Franc from Maraekakaho and Pinot Blanc from Eskdale. The grapes were co-fermented before being pressed into a 250l egg fermenters to integrate. It's bright pink with wild, earthy fruit; crunchy acid and a hint of funk. Drinking beautifully, its fabulous with food - and proof that you don't need to follow the rules to get a great wine.
