Xinomavro produces intense wines. These are young, unirrigated vines. There is the aroma of cherry, raspberry and plum, with the same on the palate, intensifying to berry compote. There's some spice and green stems. This is a delicious wine - light and bright enough to be enjoyed on a warm evening but with an intensity of flavour which makes it a perfect pairing for grilled meat, hard cheese and other strongly flavoured food.
