From one of the oldest and best Rioja producers in the Rioja Alavesa. Marques de Riscal are famous for their traditional-style rioja wines, but also for the extraordinary Frank Gehry building which houses their cellar door and hotel. This is 100% Tempranillo with dark berries, spice and a forest floor quality. A great match for any Spanish style food but equally comfortable with any strong flavoured cuisine. Its particularly tasty accompanied by a good sheep's cheese.
