From the famous wine growing region of the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon comes this fascinating blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. There are tropical fruits, citrus peel and fine acidity combined with some toasty almond from the Chardonnay with a little age. Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley in particular, is one of the world's oldest wine growing regions - in the 20th Century concentrating mainly on Bordeaux blends. The Saade family, who also own the only currently functioning vineyard in Syria, have been making wine at this Bekaa Valley site since 2005.
