We are overjoyed to be able offer three outrageously good wines from a fantastic certified biodynamic McLaren Vale producer called Hedonist.

Hedonist is the brainchild of award-winning winemaker Walter Clappis who planted this vineyard in 1996 and now manages the estate and winemaking in collaboration with his daughter Kimberly and son-in-law James Cooter.

The vineyards are in the Willunga foothills, 12km inland resulting in a cooler microclimate than McLaren Vale propper. The soil is alluvial clay with lime and gravel. The wines are vibrant, fresh, modern expressions of South Australia terroir... they are bottled unfined but do undergo a light filtration. The winemaking is minimalistic and the wines are rich, vibrantly fruity and dark with one foot in the "New Australia" camp but also perfect for consumers with more traditional pallets.
