Georgians claim 8000 vintages - an 8000 year history of continuous winemaking! 

These three whites showcase some of the different styles possible with the indigenous white grapes Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane. Both are crisp whites producing citrus lead wines when vinified in a European manner. Mtsvane adds a more floral, aromatic note and the Tsinandali blends contain both Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane. In this pack you will try the Mtavruli Tsinandali - a clean, fresh white wine showing a little of the floral characters of the Mtsvane. There is also an oak-aged Tsinandali. It might remind you a little of a fume blanc and shows one of the ways modern Georgian wine-makers are integrating European techniques with traditional grapes. The third wine is a qvevri made Rkatsiteli. Made in the traditional underground amphora (qvevri) it has more texture and an oxidative quality with flavours of nuts and dried fruit emerging along with the strong acid line.
