We think this 2018 vintage bubbles from Huia is one of New Zealand's finest examples of the Methode Traditionelle genre. 100% Chardonnay from an organic estate it is aged for an extended period in barrel and bottle before being riddled and disgorged. Being a blanc de blanc style the focus is on acidity accentuated minerality with creamy bubbles, brioche, lime marmalade and a hint of peach. It has a lovely long, fresh, creamy finish.
