Marchese Dalmasso draws from some of the finest vineyards in the region of Piedmont to create its DOC wines. This is an elegant wine - raspberry, red currant, cherry and pomegranate with a little floral aspect on the nose . The palate is fresh with a clean acid line backed up with fine tannic structure. The red fruits persist along with a little note of pink peppercorn spice near the end. Fragrant and quite delicate, this wine will happily pair with lighter first courses and with white meat and semi-aged cheese. Deliciously good value.
