100% Syrah from vines averaging 40 years old, all farmed organically. This has a long fermentation, of 4-5 weeks, before being aged first in concrete tank then in barrel for a year. The nose is blackcurrant and dark berries, while the palate really sees those intense black currants shine. The tannins are delicate, providing lovely structure and making this an elgant, refined Syrah.
