The Vandal boys - unfined, unfiltered and unstable - are at it again. Three winemakers from Marlborough with classy day jobs are doing their own thing in their own time and the results are usually a bit out there. This is a special wild co-ferment of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Viognier. A little spritzy at first, it settles into a complex cherry and spice mouthfull. We've got one case of the seven available - and given how well the sample bottle went down at the Cult Headquarters tasting - this will not last long on our shelves.
