Teliani Valley are one of the big, modern wine producers in Georgia. While they do produce some wines using the ancient qvevri method; this is a totally up-to-date traditional method sparkling. By using the indigenous Rkatsiteli grape, the winemakers are able to produce a light, beautifully fragrant wine. There's lots of fresh, green apples but also some satisfying brioche and some floral notes. This is a lovely aperitif wine - great if you are looking for something a little different for the party table and very drinkable!
