Champion organic vineyard Terrace Edge, in Waipara, Nth Canterbury have produced something rather special with this St Laurent. A grape more closely associated with Austria and Germany. Its an offspring of Pinot Noir and a much beefier wine. This version is dark with deep fruit and silky tannins. Wild fermentation was followed by 11 months in French oak.
