REDy is an easy-drinking light red, typical of the Villany region in Hungary. Made from predominantly Portugieser; it is designed emphasise the red berry freshness of this grape; with deliberately low tannins. The blend is decided each year and generally includes some of the local grapes Kadarka and Kekfrankos as well as Zweigelt and Blauburger. This is a great food wine, the berry fruit complimenting rather than dominating the meal.
