Here is a deliciously dry sparkling wine, made in a region of Hungary best known for its luscious sweet wines and whose winemaker is well-known Hungarian historian Dr Krisztián Ungváry. Made in very small batches, by hand, from a small vineyard in Tokaj, vines for this wine are over 100 years old. The nose is complex with stone fruits, wild flowers, pear and quince. There's a delightful bubble and delicate citrus on the palate with bready notes and a fine minerality. Punching well above its weight, this is a fantastic bubbles for any celebration.
