Collection: Te Aro Wine
These are some new wines from a project that Jules, Cult Wine's wine director has been working on since January. It is Te Aro Wine, Wellington's first and only dedicated urban winery (both Garage Project and Husk also have awesome wine programs but we are the only one just making wine and nothing else). Their motto is "we make fun wine not fine wine" so the wines are emphatically off-center, wild and funky. That said, they are not "natural" as the fruit is not sourced from organic vineyards yet. From 2019 they will be working with some vineyards that are in conversion.
We are proud to present the first wines to the trade, the Te Aro Wine wines are made at the Ebor Street winery and 'Tastes Like' will become a range of wines made for them by friends as they were only able to produce a tiny amount of wine this year and we saw the need to pad out the offering.
