Rich, wild and textural, barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc is one of our very favourite styles here at Known Unknown. Our 2020 Running on Fumé (Blanc) is a beautiful example of the style with extended aging in barrel and bottle before release. Grown biodynamically (Demeter Certified) in the Wairau Valley, Marlborough this is a tight, tense, acid-driven Sauvignon Blanc with focused lemongrass fruit and soft smoky accents.
