This is a classic red vermouth with a twist. Made in the Bay of Islands with a base wine of Syrah, sweetened and fortified with distillates of Kerikeri Orange, Totara, Kahikatea, Matai, Kauri, Northern Rata and Kanuka Flowers. It includes the barks from all of these native trees. It tastes of the native bush, of those bright fresh oranges and is fantastic on its own over ice (with a slice of orange!), with a splash of soda or tonic or in a cocktail.
