White Rock is a profoundly elegant, restrained, balanced Chardonnay which goes against the trend for typical Napa Chardy and manages to convey its sense of place because of it. Considering this wine retails at $45 USD (about $65) it represents a bargain in NZ when the cost of shipping and excise are taken into account. Stunning.
