This is an utterly stunning, beautifully aged, expression of Awatere Pinot Noir. From the acclaimed Calrossie Vineyard which was previously owned by Highfield/Terravin and had been used by the legendary Pyramid Valley for their grower collection wines comes a ripe, rich Marlborough Pinot with black cherry, ripe doris plum and blackberry, alongside aromas of game, forest floor and tobacco. Aged in barrel (25% new) for 24 months and then in tank and bottle this is a rich, complex wine.
