This is a stunning Syrah from the solo project of ex-Craggy Range winemaker Rod Easthope. 100% whole bunch this is a concentrated, savoury, spicy wine that is a reinvention of the Gimblett Gravels Syrah genre. 

"Hot tar, liquorice, blackest cherry and cracked pepper are all characters that spring to mind when spending some time with a large glass of this. The palate has immense depth. The tannins almost feel like crushed stone.
