From McLaren Vale pioneers Coriole, comes this new story, the first of their “New Australian Collection” to be imported into New Zealand: NERO. Nero, of course being the Sicilian variety Nero D’Avola and with this wine the team at Coriole have looked to the traditions of Sicliy, fermenting this wine in wax-lined amphora before aging the wine in barrel. It is soft, silky and full of dark, brooding fruit.
