These wines, made from vines, some of which are over 180 years old, showcase the indigenous red grapes of Rias Baixas. This region, in the north west of Spain is best known for its clean, acidic, saline Albarino - but the reds, long made and drank for home consumption - are just as exciting. 

This is a chance to try all three varieties - Loureiro (Tinto), Espadeiro and Caino - from an iconic producer who has specialised in these grapes. Forjas del Salnés is a small family business that since 1995 has seen the collaboration between Rodrigo Méndez, a local expert, and Raúl Pérez, one of the most important oenologists in Spain, to create wines of great personality and very high quality.
