"This pinot Grus was lovingly grown on a stunning hillside vineyard in French Farm overlooking Akaroa Harbour, Banks Peninsula. Vines grown on basalt soils formed from an extinct volcano, produce fruit with ample texture and unique vibrant acitidy. We have made the most of this fruit's thick skins by leaving the wine on skins for 7 months before pressing.
