From a new organic grower in Hanmer, comes this delicious range of natural wines... Unfined, unfiltered and bottled with minimal sulfur additions.
This wine was created using the ancient French technique of harvesting and fermenting all the white grapes of the vineyard together. The composition is primarily Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, with a smaller amount of Riesling and Gruner Veltliner. Grapes were foot crushed and then pressed off to stainless steel for fermentation using wild yeast. The resulting wine benefits from the widely different characters of each varietal, presenting a smoky aroma, with subtle citrus fruit flavours and fresh, balanced acidity.
