From a new organic grower in Hanmer, comes this delicious range of natural wines... Unfined, unfiltered and bottled with minimal sulphur additions.
As the soils and climate at the Hamner vineyard are not well suited to this varietal, Sauvignon Blanc grapes were instead carefully selected from an organic vineyard in Waipara. The grapes were pressed off to stainless steel for ferment and then aged in ceramic egg. This ageing process has allowed the wine to go through a secondary fermentation, which has created a softer, more mellow version of Sauvignon Blanc, whilst still retaining its beautiful fresh, fruity character.
