Both Tam & Jo have an amazing passion for Pinot Noir. It was this need to create great Pinot Jo & Tam came up with idea of MICA. Plus the name PINO was also the name of a sparkling drink they both drown in Italy.
Mica is a collaboration between two female antipodean winemakers; Tamra Washington of La Monella, Kelly Washington and Seresin and Josephine Perry of iconic Margaret Rive Dormilona.
Hand harvest, destemmed into Italian amphora for a couple of months for fermentation. Then pressed off back to amphora to allow to mature. Racked once to bottle. No fining filtration, adding only minimal Sulphur at bottling.
