Lovely, textural Nelson Chardonnay from newcomers Moonlight Mile: organic Nelson Chardonnay with partial skin-ferment vinified in old oak for texture.
"Our Chardonnay is from a seaside site in Kina, Nelson. Handpicked and handsorted, half foot stomped and rested on skins for 10 hours. Homogenized with the remaining fruit and gently bladder pressed to neutral oak, cool natural ferment and then to let to sit for 7 months, natural springtime MLf with lees stirring. Unfiltered unfined, touch of sulphur at bottling (40PPM)."
