This is ridiculously easy to drink. A bordeaux blend, with a good splash of Pinotage to add to the mix, its full of blackberry and other forest fruit flavours. There's spice and chocolate but also some savoury elements - dried herbs and a little graphite. Its grown right here in the Waikato on the shores of Lake Karapiro.
This is a very versatile wine but particularly delicious with mushrooms and any kind of red meat - especially beef!
