Mittelbergheim winegrowers have always believed in Sylvaner on the Zotzenberg terroir. The grape variety is considered an element of heritage in Mittelbergheim. This is a very special wine. Sylvaner was only accepted as part of the Grand Cru classification in 2005. This is a superb example - with a nose of delicate citrus followed by intense ripe fruits and the kind of minerality Alsace whites are known for. Delicious now, this will age.
