The Kir-Yianni family vineyards are in the north of Greece, to the west of Thessaloniki. The grapes are grown in the foothills of the Vermio Mountains and provide a very different experience to the assyrtiko grown on Santorini. This wine is fermented in stainless steel and sees no oak - maintaining the grapes sharp freshness. There's lime peel, citrus blossom and elderflowers - making this a delicious accompaniment to any seafood but equally good at cutting through some grilled lamb or even a BBQ sausage.
