Made from 100% fruit from their Te Muna vineyard in Martinborough this is an elegant, modern Chardonnay. There's lots of stone fruit up front on the nose but the palate leads with refreshing citrus before the more complex stone fruit and spice flavours kick in. Its spent some time on lees and this contributes to a rich mouthfeel. There's oak here too - but just a little - so the bright fruit flavours dominate in the best possible way. Drinking beautifully for 2024, it could easily be cellared for three to five years.
