Wild yeast fermentation in tanks over a long period allows this iconic producer to make a Pinot Gris with fantastic complexity and texture. There are stone fruit and peach flavours and a lovely floral note. This wine has the succulent sweetness to stand up to strong flavours, even chilli but without losing any freshness. Grown in Kumeu this is a wine which shows both the quality of the fruit and the winemakers art.
This is delicious with fish and would be a juicy accompaniment to pork.
