Olaszrizling is the great workhorse grape of Hungary and is grown everywhere except Tokaj. It generally producers easy-drinking quaffers and this is a good example of a well-made, straightforward wine designed for enjoyment with food and friends. Its full of lemon fresh flavours, lots of fruit and florals and with just a hint of bitter almond at the end. Sometimes used for white wine spritzes in Hungary, we think this is the perfect accompaniment to a late summer picnic.
