Change the way you think about fruit wine!
This little sweetie has a lovely spiced nose and excellent balance with the natural sweetness set against crunchy pear and good acid. Delightful with cheese at the end of a meal; tasty with (or over!) vanilla ice-cream and incredibly refreshing as a spritz with soda, tonic or even lemonade.
Here's what wine maker SandRa has to say "Pears were harvested late summer (2023) from our grand old pear tree, made into a glorious tea with whole spices; cloves, cardamom, vanilla pod, star anise, cinnamon sticks. Fermented on the fruit for four days then fermented over autumn and winter, bottled late winter. "
