Nieport are iconic Portugese producers - Nat Cool is their collaborative label where they are trying to do something fresh and innovative. This is a pet nat which reaches back into the traditions of the Vinho Verde region, where lightly spritzy wines made from the indigenous grapes are drunk young and fresh. This is full of fresh citrus, green apples, floral aromas and also a great yeasty complexity from the lees it has been sitting on. In a 1L bottle this is a wine made for sharing!
