Viura is the most important white grape in Rioja and known as Macebo in Catalonia, where it is the key component in cava.  This is 100% hand-picked Viura, fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel. The nose is full of fresh fruit but on the palate it is dry with excellent acidity and the tang of fresh herbs that the grape is known for. A great match for coconut based curries or spicy noodle dishes and also at home next to a hearty plate of spaghetti and caper sauce.
