Is this Australia's greatest contribution to the world of wine? A style so distinct you may need to be a bit of a dingo to really appreciate it? Or is it, as the boys at Teusner say "the answer to the age old question…“what do we drink with breakfast?”“
Sparkling Shiraz is a tricky balancing act between succulent fruit, subtle sweetness, understated oak, lush tannins and lively acidity. This has lovely blackberries, mouth-watering tannin but plenty of sweetness too. It would certainly look good next to a fry-up but works equally well as the accompaniment to a BBQ; a big roast turkey or even your pudding.
